The Rochester Community Schools Foundation’s annual Sip, Savor & Shop fundraiser returns Nov. 5 at a bigger venue, with more than 50 local vendors, food and drinks for attendees.
The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Rochester Hills Banquet Center, 1919 Star-Batt Drive in Rochester Hills. The foundation said on its event page that it moved to a larger space this year for more room to sip, eat and shop.
Tickets cost $30 per person or $100 for a group of four, according to the foundation’s ticket form. The foundation promoted the evening as “a fun girls’ night out” on social media.
The lineup includes beverages, appetizers and tables from dozens of local businesses. A 50/50 raffle and auction featuring items the foundation values at more than $15,000 round out the evening. All proceeds from the raffle, auction and ticket sales go toward school grants for Rochester Community Schools students, according to the foundation.
North Oakland Dance Company is sponsoring the event, the foundation said in an Oct. 23 post on X.
Rochester Community Schools also promoted the event, encouraging residents to get an early start on holiday shopping while supporting local vendors and students.
