Stoney Creek's freshman football team scored seven touchdowns in a 48-0 shutout of Troy Athens on Thursday, Sept. 24.

Five Cougars found the end zone. Sirad, Dubey, McNamara, Kelosky and Best each scored at least once, according to a game recap on the Stoney Creek athletics site.

Kicker Mason Bellore connected on six of seven extra-point attempts.

The win improves Stoney Creek to 4-0 on the season. The Cougars entered the game ranked first in the Oakland Activities Association White Division, according to MaxPreps. Through four games the freshman squad has outscored opponents 142-28.

The defense held Troy Athens scoreless while allowing an average of seven points per game across the season's first month.

Stoney Creek travels to Rochester for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff on Thursday, Oct. 1, then hosts Adams on Oct. 8.
