Stoney Creek volleyball won in three straight sets at Notre Dame Prep in Pontiac on Sunday, Sept. 20, extending a productive stretch for the Rochester Hills program, according to Stoney Creek Athletics.

The Cougars are 6-2 over their last eight matches, a stretch that has lifted their overall record to 9-8 this season, according to MaxPreps. That run includes a 3-1 record at the Motor City Power Series, where Stoney Creek beat Henry Ford, Cass Tech and the EPBP Lakers before falling to Frankenmuth in three sets. At a separate quad, the Cougars defeated Dakota but lost to Marian and Bloomfield.

The recent surge follows a 2-0 win over rival Rochester on Sept. 8, according to MaxPreps. The Cougars' next Oakland Activities Association opponent has not been announced.
