Stoney Creek High School opens its doors Friday, Sept. 18, for a free community-wide tailgate before the Cougars' evening football game.

The Celebration at the Creek runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at the school, 6755 Sheldon Road in Rochester Hills. Rochester Community Schools announced the event on X, describing it as a community-wide tailgate with activities for all ages.

Families can expect free inflatables, food trucks, games, military and emergency vehicles and performances. The tailgate also includes a sensory-friendly area for families with sensory needs, according to the district's announcement.

The Cougars' football game kicks off at 7 p.m. Game admission is separate and requires a ticket purchased electronically through GoFan.

Celebration at the Creek is one of three fall tailgate events Rochester Community Schools holds across its high schools. Rochester High School's Falcon Frenzy and Adams High School's Gold Rush round out the series.
