The Rochester Falcons carry a 2-1 record to Oxford on Sept. 18, facing a Wildcats squad that hasn't lost through three weeks.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Oxford. The game is available to stream on the NFHS Network. The Oakland Press describes the matchup as an OAA conference crossover, while MaxPreps lists it as a non-league game.

Oxford enters at 3-0 and ranked No. 5 in Oakland County by The Oakland Press. The Wildcats also received three votes in the initial Associated Press Division 1 state poll. Rochester sits at No. 87 in Michigan and No. 28 in Division 1, according to MaxPreps.

The Falcons opened with a 21-0 shutout of L'Anse Creuse North on Aug. 27, then fell 21-19 to Adams on Sept. 3 before winning 21-10 at Bloomfield Hills on Sept. 10. Junior quarterback Matt Dyki has thrown three touchdown passes through three games. Junior receiver Chase Czerwien leads the team with 49.0 receiving yards per game, while senior Blake Czechowski paces the ground attack at 46.0 rushing yards per game with one touchdown. Senior Nathan Tandy has one interception and one receiving touchdown.

Oxford scored touchdowns on its first five drives in a 34-15 win over Lake Orion on Sept. 11, rushing for more than 200 yards. Sophomore quarterback Michael King, a first-year starter, connected with Brody Casper on a 35-yard touchdown pass. Preston Wilder scored twice, and Keedan Pociask also found the end zone. Senior captains Aidan Ryan and Liam Samborski anchor the offensive line.

"The kids just executed the things we practiced all week, and really did a great job in the second half," Oxford head coach Trevor Potts said after the Sept. 11 win.

The Oakland Press noted that Oxford's Sept. 25 trip to Clarkston could have major implications in the OAA Red division.

Rochester, coached by Erik Vernon, returns home Sept. 25 to host Troy at 7 p.m.
